Youth Killed It have gone from strength to strength in their short lifespan as a band. Having only formed in January of 2017, the band have seen themselves play packed out shows around the UK leading to invitations to play festivals such as Isle of Wight and Y Not Festival and heavy rotations on BBC Introducing, MTV, Channel V, Kerrang! Radio as well as a multitude of positive reviews for their first album ‘Modern Bollotics’
Off the back of two self-released EP’s Youth Killed It were approached and signed to Rude Records fairly early in their career establishing themselves within the industry.
Youth Killed It are in the midst of an album campaign for their new record ‘What’s so Great, Britain?’ Which came out October 5th along with a nationwide tour. Don’t miss out on one of the most exciting and fresh bands to come out of the UK in the last decade!
Early History: They began in 2012 under a different moniker which some may know as ‘Under The Influence’. This former version of the band was writing and recording metal-oriented music and had moderate success after signing to Hassle Records. Extensively touring the UK, America and doing festivals around Europe, Under The Influence reformed in early 2016 as Youth Killed It in an attempt to move into music more inline with their evolving tastes and personalities. Looking back far enough, the band have known each other since they were kids having met around the Norwich and King’s Lynn music scene when they were in their early Teens.
